How to Hand Back Laundry and Collect Payment
Open the ticket and use the Hand over form. Count the pieces going out, take any balance (by one or several payment methods), note who collected, and click Complete handover. For a delivery, click Confirm delivered instead. If the count does not match, a note is required.
Handover is the only way a ticket is closed. It is where you check that every piece goes back and the customer has paid.
Step 1: find the ticket
Ask for the ticket, or search on the board by ticket number, name or phone. Ready tickets have a Hand over button on the board.
Step 2: count the pieces out
In Pieces out, enter how many pieces are going back. It starts at the number counted in. If the numbers do not match, write why in Note (for example "1 shirt kept for re-wash"); without a note the handover is refused.
Step 3: take the balance
- Under Balance taken now, the balance is filled in. Choose the payment method.
- Paying two ways? Click Add another payment. Add a MoMo transaction ID or transfer number in Reference.
- To pay from the customer's advance, choose Advance. The amount they hold is shown.
If the customer pays more than they owe, the extra is kept as their advance for next time.
Step 4: complete
Enter Collected by if someone else collects for the customer, then click Complete handover. For a ticket that is out for delivery, click Confirm delivered. The ticket closes as Collected or Delivered.

Common problems
"This ticket still owes money"
Your business does not release clothes with a balance owed (Do not hand clothes over while a balance is owed in Laundry → Settings). Take the full balance. A customer who wants to pay in parts can pay some before collection with Record payment on the ticket; see How to Record a Payment on a Laundry Ticket.
"Only a ticket that is ready… can be handed over"
Move the ticket to Ready first.
