How to Set Up Wholesale and Branch Prices with Price Groups
Create a price group such as Wholesale under Inventory → Selling Price Group. Set its prices per product with Actions → Add or edit Group Prices, or for many products at once with Update Price. Choose the group on a sale, set it as a branch's default price, or link it to a type of service.
A selling price group is a second price list: wholesale prices, prices for a particular branch, or prices for delivery orders. Every product keeps its normal price, and can have a different price in each group.
Step 1: create the group
- Open Inventory → Selling Price Group and click Add.
- Type the Name, such as "Wholesale", and a Description if you like. Save.
Step 2: set the group's prices
One product at a time: on Inventory → Products, open the product's Actions and choose Add or edit Group Prices. Type the group price and save.
Many at once: click Update Price at the top of the Products page. Export the price sheet, fill in the group's column in Excel, and import it back. Do not change the product names, SKUs or headings.

Step 3: use it
- On a sale: choose the price group in the price group box on the POS or Add Sale, and every item is charged at that group's price.
- For a whole branch: edit the branch under Settings → Business Locations and set its Default Selling Price Group. That branch's POS then sells at those prices without anyone choosing.
- For a type of service: link the group to a type of service, such as delivery. See How to Set Up Types of Service.
