A busy garage loses money in the gaps: the estimate the customer "never agreed to", the part fitted but never billed, the mechanic nobody can match to the job, the car that should have come back for a service and never did. SellarPro Workshop closes those gaps by following each vehicle from check-in to release.
From check-in to release
- Job card. Open a job card when the vehicle arrives, against the vehicle and its owner.
- Estimate. Add each part and labour line with its quantity, rate and technician. The parts list shows what is in stock at your branch.
- Approval. Send the customer an approval link, or record their answer yourself — counter, phone or WhatsApp. Only approved work goes on the invoice.
- The work. Assign a technician and move the job across the Job Board as it progresses.
- Invoice and release. Generate the invoice from the approved work and release the vehicle. Parts leave stock when the job is invoiced, not before.
Every vehicle, and its history
Record each vehicle once: owner, registration, make, model, year, colour, VIN, engine, transmission, fuel and mileage. Registrations match however they are typed, so GR 4521-21 and gr452121 are the same car. Service History lists every completed job by vehicle, and a next-service date or mileage keeps the car coming back to you.
Inspections with your own checklists
Run a pre-purchase assessment, a routine check, a repair-related or a diagnostic inspection against a checklist you define, record the mileage and mark each point OK or Not OK. Start one on its own or straight from a job card.
Mechanics, credited for their work
Add technicians with their speciality — engine, electrical, body. They need no login to be assigned jobs, and the reports credit each one with the work they did.
Reports that answer garage questions
Workshop reports show revenue, parts and labour, what was collected and what is still outstanding, broken down by service, by part, by technician and by vehicle make. Settings cover job numbering, check-in points, invoice wording and the texts customers receive.
Selling parts over the counter too
Workshop runs inside SellarPro, so the same system sells parts at the POS, tracks their stock and buys them from suppliers. Running a parts shop alongside the garage? See POS for spare parts shops.
Pricing
Workshop is included from the Business plan, GH₵250/month. The full walkthrough is in the Help Center: how to run a repair job.
